HSW was selected to prepare a Range layout and 15% Design with Costs for two ranges at Ft. McCoy. Based on the success of the DD 3086 15% Design Data Package submission, HSW was selected under a new delivery order to prepare the complete (100%) design package for each range. This scope of work includes multi-disciplined design tasks to prepare construction drawings, specifications, design analysis, and cost estimates using Huntsville standards. The scope included survey and geotechnical studies, 65%, 95%, and 100% design submittals, review meetings, comment consolidation and response using DrChecks, and engineering services during construction. Civil/site work, electrical power, fiber optic data cable, and support facilities represented the most significant design elements.
