Description of Services provided under the Environmental Schedule:

SIN 899-1 - Environmental Planning Services & Documentation

May include, but not limited to: groundwater studies and management; groundwater resource investigations; wellhead protection studies; hydrogeologic studies; technical analyses; statistical analyses; risk analyses; environmental program management; waste management plans; and, environmental regulation development and plans.

SIN 899-2 - Environmental Compliance Services

May include, but not limited to: air, stormwater, soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment investigations and permitting; developing plans to meet environmental regulations; environmental site (transactional) assessments; environmental compliance audits; compliance management planning; waste and pollution prevention surveys and plans; compliance effects of process modifications; review of new technology impact on compliance; risk assessments (human health and ecological); contingency plans; emergency preparedness and prevention plans; Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans; closure/post-closure plans; Clean Air Act (CAA); Clean Water Act (CWA); Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA); Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA); and, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).

SIN 899-4 - Waste Management Services

May include, but not limited to: hazard and exposure assessments; waste characterization studies; review of technologies and processes impacting waste management; review and recommendation of waste tracking or handling systems; and, development of waste management plans.

SIN 899-8 - Remediation Services

May include, but not limited to: excavation, removal, manifesting, transportation, storage, treatment (on-site and off-site) and/or disposal of hazardous waste; preparation, characterization, field investigation, remediation, conservation, and closure of site; Long Term Monitoring/Long Term Operation (LTM/LTO); containment, monitoring, and/or waste hazard reduction at hazardous waste sites; remedial alternatives evaluation (air, soil, and/or groundwater); remedial system design; remedial system installation; and, remedial system operation & maintenance.

SIN 899-99 - Introduction of New Services

May include, but not limited to: development of innovative remediation techniques; streamlining compliance activities; development of performance-based permitting approaches; and, operation of pilot studies in conjunction with remediation.
